Omnia Opera

Omnia Opera are an Psychedelic Acid Punk Prog Space Rock band!! who have been around for over 25 years on and off. Omnia Opera play their own brand of psychedelic rock music calling it 'Plasma Rock' a mix of influences including acid rock, punky anarchic grit, prog, gentle breathing and most things in-between. Often enjoyed by fans of Gong, The Cardiacs, Hawkwind, Pink Floyd, Ozric Tentacles, etc, etc and for fans of the likes of Dead Can Dance, Transam and the general underground psyche scene. They are often labelled a "Space Rock" band and this is a fairly limiting classification of the bands musical body of work which is expansive and reaches far beyond the confines of such an identity.

The band are interested in taking the listener somewhere else, getting under the skin and into the head and lifting the spirit. It's not for everyone but then what is? The band have been around in one guise or another since 1985 and have only a few albums released although they command a dedicated almost fanatical following, known only as the Plasma core.

The core members of the band have remained intact throughout its history with Neil Spragg on Drums, Rob Lloyd on Guitar and Andy Jones on Bass & Vocals. The current line up has settled over the past few years and is possibly the strongest incarnation of the band so far and includes on synthesizer Captain Bagley and the unbridled and joyous Libby Vale on Vocals and Sound effects. Live shows require more people, secret hidden members of the band, on the mixing desk making it all happen is Dave Gallager and dazzling the gathered throng with a top class projector lightsow is Catwezel (Colour Burst) and his side kick Emma

Based in and around the midlands of the united Kingdom, (Malvern & Kidderminster in Worcestershire, Church Stretton in Shropshire and Bromyard in Herefordshire.) The bands strong hold and base in all of its history.
